COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency Mrs Ximena Fuentes Torrijo was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Chile to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Fernando Atria was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Juan Ernesto Snead Amarilla was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Paraguay to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Snead was also received by His Majesty.

Her Excellency Ms Tuot Panha was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Court of St James’s.

Sir Oliver Robbins (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan this afternoon visited His Majesty when The King presented His Majesty with the Insignia of an Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.

Afterwards The King spoke to Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan via telephone to convey His Majesty’s condolences on the recent death of His Highness’s father, Prince Karim Aga Khan.

The King, Royal Patron, later received senior members of the Intelligence Agencies.

The Queen this morning opened Exeter Sexual Assault and Referral Centre, Hembury House, Pynes Hill, Exeter, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr David Fursdon).

Her Majesty this afternoon visited CoLab Exeter, Wat Tyler House, 3 King William Street, Exeter.

Kensington Palace

The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay this afternoon visited East Scryne Farm, Carnoustie, and was received by Mr Malcolm Taylor (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Angus).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Carnoustie and Monifieth Men’s Shed, 140 Kinloch Street, Carnoustie.

The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay later visited Deirdre Knight Centre, Lour Road, Forfar, Angus.

St James’s Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, accompanied by His Majesty’s Ambassador to Nepal (His Excellency Mr Robert Fenn), today carried out the following engagements in Nepal.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited the National Botanical Garden, Godawari.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh afterwards visited the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development Living Mountain Laboratory, Godawari.

Their Royal Highnesses later visited the Gurkha Welfare Trust Area Welfare Centre and Residential Home, Pokhara.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited Glenside Hospital Museum at Bristol County Asylum Church, Glenside, Blackberry Hill, Bristol, to mark its Fortieth Anniversary and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs Peaches Golding).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Southmead Hospital, Southmead Road, Bristol.
