COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Goran Aleksic was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Serbia to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Aleksic was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Paul Huijts was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Huijts-Statema was also received by His Majesty.

Her Excellency Ms Sanja Stiglic was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Slovenia to the Court of St James’s.

Sir Oliver Robbins (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

His Majesty gave a Dinner Party at Windsor Castle this evening.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning visited Boxing Futures, Crusader Court, Peterborough, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs Julie Spence).

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon visited Peterborough United Football Club, London Road, Peterborough.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, later visited Railworld Wildlife Haven, Pleasure Fair Meadow Road, Peterborough.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Mothers’ Union, this morning visited the “English for Women” project at the Young Men’s Christian Association Essex, 16 Victoria Road, Chelmsford, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this evening attended a “Table for the Nation” Dinner held by the Woodland Trust in Lincoln Cathedral and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr Toby Dennis).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Kent, former President of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Army and Navy Club, 36 Pall Mall, London SW1, to commemorate His Royal Highness’s Presidency of the Commission.
