The Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for the United States of America.

Mr Alexander Stonor and Mrs Angus Galletley are in attendance.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the International Rugby Match between Scotland and Wales at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Robert Aldridge, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Scottish Garden City Housing Society Limited, this evening attended the One Hundred and Tenth Anniversary Reception at Edinburgh Castle.

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Patron, the British Museum, was represented by Professor Christopher Gosden (Trustee) at the Memorial Service for the Lord Renfrew of Kaimsthorn (former Trustee) which was held at Jesus College Chapel, Cambridge, this afternoon.
