The King was present at the Memorial Service for General Sir Michael Jackson (former Chief of the General Staff) which was held at the Royal Memorial Chapel, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Camberley, Surrey, this morning.

The Queen was represented by General Sir Patrick Sanders.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Mr James Lowther-Pinkerton.

The Princess Royal was represented by Colonel John Boyd.

The Rt Hon Hilary Benn MP (Secretary of State for Northern Ireland) was received by The King this afternoon.

The Rt Hon Mark Carney (Prime Minister of Canada) was received in audience by His Majesty.

The King, Patron, Royal Countryside Fund, this evening gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace for the Fund’s Farm Support Groups Initiative.

The Prince of Wales, Founder and President, the Earthshot Prize, this morning received Ms Hannah Jones (Chief Executive) at Windsor Castle.

The Princess of Wales, Colonel, this morning presented Shamrock to the Irish Guards at Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1, on the occasion of St Patrick’s Day.

St James’s Palace

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Irish Regiment (27th (Inniskilling), 83rd, 87th and The Ulster Defence Regiment), this afternoon received Shamrock on the occasion of St Patrick’s Day.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Save the Children UK, this evening attended the Thirtieth Anniversary International Financial Review Annual Awards Dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London W1, and was received by Mr Stuart Shilson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
