The King, Royal Founding Patron, Royal Countryside Fund, this morning attended a briefing from the Royal Countryside Fund Regenerative Farming Discussion at Somerset House, Strand, London WC2, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of the Royal Countryside Fund (Ms Heather Hancock) and the Chairman of Somerset House (the Baroness Rebuck).
His Majesty subsequently viewed the “Soil: the World at Our Feet” exhibition, co-curated by the Land Gardeners, at Somerset House.
Ms Harriet Cross was received in audience by The King this afternoon and kissed hands upon her appointment as Governor of Montserrat.
Mr Philip Saltonstall was also received by His Majesty.
Mr Daniel Shepherd was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Guinea.

The Queen this morning visited Charles Dickens Museum, 48 Doughty Street, London WC1, to mark the Centenary of the opening to the public of the former home of Charles Dickens, and was received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, Patron, We Are Farming Minds, this afternoon participated in a Duchy of Cornwall Young Tenant Farmers Conference at Folly Farm, Stowey, Pensford, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mr Mohammed Saddiq).

The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Belgium and was received this afternoon at Brussels Airport by the His Majesty’s Ambassador to the European Union (His Excellency Mr Lindsay Croisdale-Appleby).
Her Royal Highness later attended a Panel Discussion at the European Parliament in Brussels in partnership with the European Parliament Intergroup for Children’s Rights on Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse: Global Action to Combat a Global Crime.
The Duchess of Edinburgh this evening attended a Reception given by His Majesty’s Ambassador to the European Union at the Residence in Brussels.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, this morning attended the Spring Conference at Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Centenary Square, Broad Street, Birmingham, and was received by Dr Lucy Martin (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).
Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Corps of Signals, this afternoon inspected 22 Signal Regiment on public duties at St James’s Palace.
The Princess Royal, Patron, Sense, later received Mr Richard Kramer upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive Officer and Mr James Watson-O’Neill upon assuming the appointment.
Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, received Major General Jonathan Chestnutt (Master General Logistics) and Colonel Jacqueline Powell (Regimental Colonel).
The Princess Royal, President, Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Presidential Dinner at Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

The Duke of Kent, Royal Patron, the British-German Association, this morning attended a Reception at the German Historical Institute, 17 Bloomsbury Square, London WC1.
