Her Majesty then attended a Reception to celebrate Seventy Years since the first broadcast on ITV.
The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Aberdeen Foyer, Marywell Centre, Marywell Street, Aberdeen.
The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay later joined an Invisible Cities walking tour along Union Street and Holburn Street, Aberdeen.
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Trinity Hall, 164 Holburn Street, Aberdeen, and was received by Mr Michael Melvin (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen).
The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay subsequently visited a Langstane Housing Association Limited property in Bucksburn, Aberdeen.

The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon attended a Bray Fellowship Luncheon at the Waterside Inn, Ferry Road, Bray, Berkshire.
The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning attended a Meeting with European Non-Governmental Organisations at the Residence of His Majesty’s Ambassador to the European Union in Brussels.
Her Royal Highness this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Belgium.
Mr Alexander Stonor, Mrs Angus Galletley and Mrs Laura King were in attendance.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel, The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), later attended a Service of Thanksgiving for the new Organ at the Guards’ Chapel, Wellington Barracks, London SW1.
The Princess Royal, Patron, British Quality Foundation, this evening attended the United Kingdom Awards Ceremony and Dinner at Wembley Stadium, Middlesex, and was received by Miss Mei Sim Lai (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Royal Pavilion and Museums Trust, this morning visited the Royal Pavilion, Brighton, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex (Mr Andrew Blackman).

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited St George’s Church, St George’s Road, Kemp Town, Brighton, to mark its Two Hundredth Anniversary.
