Buckingham Palace

The King was present at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Lieutenant General Sir Peter Graham (formerly General Officer Commanding Scotland and Governor of Edinburgh Castle) which was held in the Cathedral Church of St Machar, the Chanonry, Aberdeen, today.

The King and Queen this evening held a Reception at Buckingham Palace for community-based cancer support groups.

The Duchess of Gloucester was present.

Kensington Palace

The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay, President, United for Wildlife, and The Duchess of Rothesay this morning visited Mull and Iona Ranger Service, Ardura Community Forest, Isle of Mull, and were received by Mrs Flora Corbett (Deputy Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute).

Their Royal Highnesses, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, today visited Pennyghael Community Hall, Pennyghael, Isle of Mull.

The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay this afternoon visited Iona Craft Shop, Isle of Iona.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Iona Village Hall.

The Duke of Edinburgh today undertook engagements in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

His Royal Highness this morning attended a Ceremony for The Queen Elizabeth II Bicentennial Bell in the Benjamin Rush Garden, corner of 3rd and Walnut Streets.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon attended a Luncheon with City and State leaders at Carpenters’ Hall, 320 Chestnut Street.

His Royal Highness, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, later attended a Roundtable Discussion at Constitution High School, 18 South 7th Street.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, subsequently attended a Reception at Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum, 6825-31 Norwitch Drive.

His Royal Highness, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner at Down Town Club, Public Ledger Building, 600 Chestnut Street.

The Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon attended a Service for the Victoria Cross and George Cross Association at St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London WC2.

The Princess Royal, Patron, English Rural Housing Association, this morning attended a Housing Conference at The Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Coram Campus, 41 Brunswick Centre, London WC1, and was received by Ms Roxane Zand (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, President, the City and Guilds of London Institute, this afternoon attended the Tenth Anniversary of The Princess Royal Training Awards at Goldsmiths’ Hall, Foster Lane, London EC2.

The Princess Royal, Royal Fellow, the Academy of Medical Sciences, later attended a Reception at 41 Portland Place, London W1, and was received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Whitley Fund for Nature, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended the Annual Awards Ceremony at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7, and was received by Mr Stuart Shilson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
