The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Hallé Concerts Society, this evening attended a Concert at Bridgewater Hall, Lower Mosley Street, Manchester, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mrs Diane Hawkins).

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out the following engagements in Sark and was received by the Seigneur of Sark (Major Christopher Beaumont).

Her Royal Highness this morning met Little Sark residents at Duval Farm.

The Princess Royal afterwards walked the East Coast Path and received a briefing on Operation Basalt and Operation Hardtack from the Royal British Legion.

Her Royal Highness later visited la Société Sercquaise, Mill Lane.

The Princess Royal afterwards visited the Sark celebrations to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of the Liberation of Sark at the Avenue.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the World War II exhibition at Old Island Hall, Rue de la Seigneurie.

The Princess Royal subsequently visited Sark Observatory, Chasse-Marais.

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning visited Gloucestershire Academy of Music, Barbican House, Barbican Road, Gloucester, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr Edward Gillespie).
