The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Chester Civic Trust, Bishop Lloyd’s Place, Watergate Row, Chester, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Lady Redmond).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Chester Cathedral to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the opening of the Bell Tower by His Royal Highness.
The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon unveiled the Thomas Brassey statue at the Railway Station, City Road, Chester.
His Royal Highness, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, subsequently visited St John Ambulance Cheshire Headquarters, Countess of Chester Health Park, Valley Drive, Liverpool Road, Chester.
