Sir Michael Stevens was received by The King today upon relinquishing his appointment as Keeper of the Privy Purse and Treasurer to The King when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.
The King was represented by Admiral of the Fleet Sir Benjamin Bathurst at the Memorial Service for Captain Michael Fulford-Dobson (formerly Her late Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset) which was held in Sherborne Abbey, Dorset, this afternoon.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were represented by Brigadier John Smedley.
The Princess Royal was represented by Captain Sir Nicholas Wright RN.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by the Hon Charlotte Townshend.
The Duke of Kent was represented by Brigadier Benjamin Edwards.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman of the Trustees, Prince Philip Trust Fund for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, this morning attended a Reception at the York Club, Windsor Great Park.

The Princess Royal, Commodore-in-Chief, Portsmouth, this morning received Commodore John Voyce upon relinquishing his appointment as Naval Base Commander (Portsmouth) and Commodore Marcel Rosenberg upon assuming the appointment.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, SS Great Britain Trust, received Mr Matthew Jones upon assuming his appointment as Chairman.

The Duke of Gloucester, Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Masons, this morning attended Common Hall at Mercers’ Hall, Ironmonger Lane, London EC2, to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of His Royal Highness’s Admission to the Freedom of the Company.
The Duchess of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Bermuda Regiment, this morning received the Governor of Bermuda (Mr Andrew Murdoch).
