The Duchess of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, today attended a parade to mark the Twenty Fifth Anniversary of 4 Armoured Close Support Battalion and visited 6 Armoured Close Support Battalion at Tidworth Garrison, Tidworth, Wiltshire.

The Princess Royal, Royal Patron, this morning opened the London International Youth Science Forum at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7, and was received by Mr Stuart Shilson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon visited the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, 5-11 Theobalds Road, London WC1, to mark the Tenth Anniversary of the Child Health Sector Network and was received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Joint President, Cancer Research UK, this morning visited the Clinical Biomanufacturing Facility and the Institute of Developmental and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Oxford Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mrs Marjorie Glasgow).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Williams Jet Tenders Limited, Vogue Business Park, Berinsfield, and was received by Mr James Macnamara (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited the Didcot Powerhouse Fund at Milton Park, Bee House, 140 Eastern Avenue, Park Drive, Milton, and was received by Ms Elizabeth Paris (Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

His Royal Highness later visited the Great Western Society, Didcot Railway Centre, Station Road, Didcot, to mark their Sixtieth Anniversary.
