The King was represented by Lieutenant General Sir Robert Magowan (Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff and former Commandant General Royal Marines) at the Funeral of Lieutenant General Sir Robin Ross (former Commandant General Royal Marines) which was held at St Mary and St Nicholas Church, West Street, Wilton, Wiltshire, this afternoon.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Royal Patron, Spruce Meadows, today carried out the following engagements in Alberta, Canada.

Her Royal Highness this morning attended the Changing Fortunes Conference at Spruce Meadows, 18011 Spruce Meadows Way South West, Calgary.

The Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon attended a Luncheon given by the Leg Up Foundation at Spruce Meadows.

Her Royal Highness later visited Youth Centres of Calgary, 7400 23rd Street South East, Calgary.
The Duchess of Edinburgh this evening attended the Evening of the Horse Performance at Spruce Meadows.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this morning officially opened Silverwood School’s Rowde Campus, Rowde, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Dame Sarah Troughton).

Her Royal Highness, President, UK Fashion and Textile Association, this afternoon visited Fermoie Limited, Hertford Court, Hertford Road, Marlborough, Wiltshire.
