The King, Patron, the Braemar Royal Highland Society, and The Queen this afternoon attended the Braemar Gathering at the Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park, Broombank Terrace, Braemar, and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr Alexander Manson) and the President of the Society (Mr Peter Fraser).

The Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) and Lady Starmer have arrived at the Castle.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Welsh Rugby Union, this afternoon attended the Women’s Rugby World Cup Pool Match between Wales and Fiji at Sandy Park Stadium, Sandy Park Way, Exeter, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr David Fursdon).

The Princess of Wales, Patron, Rugby Football Union, this afternoon attended the Women’s Rugby World Cup Pool Match between England and Australia at Falmer Stadium, Village Way, Brighton, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex (Mr Andrew Blackman).

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning officially opened Athelstan Garden, Queen’s Promenade, Kingston-upon-Thames, and, having been received by the Reverend Martin Hislop (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London), this afternoon viewed a flotilla of vessels from Minima Yacht Club, High Street, Kingston-upon-Thames, marking the One Thousand One Hundredth Anniversary of the Coronation of King Athelstan, the first King of All England.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Royal Patron, Spruce Meadows, today carried out the following engagements in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The Duchess of Edinburgh afterwards met vendors and representatives of the Brown Bear Woman Events Team at Spruce Meadows, 18011 Spruce Meadows Way South West.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon given by the British Consul in Calgary at Spruce Meadows and was received by the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta (the Hon Salma Lakhani).

The Duchess of Edinburgh later met representatives of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police at Spruce Meadows.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner at Spruce Meadows to mark their Fiftieth Anniversary.
