The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, this afternoon presented a New Standard to The Royal Dragoon Guards at Battlesbury Barracks, Warminster, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Dame Sarah Troughton).

His Royal Highness this evening departed Heathrow Airport, London, for Papua New Guinea.

The Princess Royal, Patron, this morning attended the British Equine Veterinary Association Congress at the International Convention Centre, Broad Street, Birmingham, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Dr Derrick Anderson).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, International Sheep Dog Society, this afternoon attended the International Sheep Dog Trials at Brynkinalt Estate, Chirk, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Clwyd (Mr Henry Fetherstonhaugh).
