The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon arrived at Port Moresby International Airport and was received by the Hon John Rosso MP (Deputy Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea).

His Royal Highness this evening called upon the Governor-General of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea (Sir Robert Dadae) at Government House, Port Moresby.

The Princess Royal this afternoon rode the Edinburgh Riding of the Marches through the Old Town of Edinburgh and, having been received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Robert Aldridge, the Rt Hon The Lord Provost), afterwards attended the Claret Toast Reception at the City Chambers, 253 High Street, Edinburgh.
