His Royal Highness, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon received Mr Simon Patterson (Chairman).

The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended a performance of “the Tempest” at Shakespeare North Playhouse, Prospero Place, Prescot, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside (Mr Mark Blundell).

The Princess Royal this morning visited the Boat Building Academy, Marine Parade, Lyme Regis, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Professor Michael Dooley).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon officially opened the new Dorset Police Headquarters and Memorial Garden, Winfrith Newburgh, Dorchester, Dorset.

The Princess Royal, Vice Patron, the British Horse Society, later visited Bovington Equestrian Centre (Royal Armoured Centre Saddle Club), Allenby Barracks, Bovington, Wareham, Dorset.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Shaftesbury, subsequently visited Ivy Lodge Centre, 212a Howeth Road, Bournemouth, Dorset.
