The Queen, Patron, this afternoon held a Reception at Clarence House to mark the Centenary of BookTrust.

Kensington Palace

The Prince and Princess of Wales, having been received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Tyrone (Sir Robert Scott), this morning visited Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service Learning and Development College, 120 Dungannon Road, Cookstown.

Their Royal Highnesses later met Police Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland.

The Prince and Princess of Wales this afternoon met representatives from the Northern Ireland linen industry at Mallon Farm, 105 Pomeroy Road, Cookstown.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Long Meadow Cider, 87 Loughgall Road, Portadown, and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Armagh (the Earl of Caledon).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Scotch Chef’s Club, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today visited Corskie Farm, Garmouth, Fochabers, and was received by Mrs Rebecca Russell (Deputy Lieutenant of Moray).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, President, Public Statues and Sculpture Association, this evening presented the Marsh Award for Excellence in Public Sculpture at the Art Workers’ Guild, 6 Queen Square, London WC1.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge of England, this afternoon attended a Lunch at Freemasons’ Hall, 60 Great Queen Street, London WC2, to commemorate the accession of the Grand Lodge of Scotland to the Council of Freemasonry in Great Britain.
