The Queen this morning visited the Poppy Workshop at Martingate Shopping Centre, Corsham, to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of the end of the Second World War and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Dame Sarah Troughton).
Her Majesty afterwards laid a wreath on the First World War Memorial at St Bartholomew’s Church, Corsham.

The Princess Royal this afternoon attended a Light Cavalry Honourable Artillery Company Reception at Bishopsgate School, Englefield Green, Egham, and was received by Lieutenant Colonel Samuel Hibbs (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Transaid, later attended the Annual Showcase at Eversheds Sutherland, 1 Wood Street, London EC2.
