COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency Mrs Kristina Miskowiak Beckvard was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Denmark to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Henrik Beckvard was also received by His Majesty.

Her Excellency Ms Anaise Manuel was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Haiti to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Stanislas Wojewodzki was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Sven Sakkov was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Estonia to the Court of St James’s.

Ms Marika Flaur was also received by His Majesty.

Sir Oliver Robbins (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The Queen, Patron, the Royal British Legion Poppy Factory, this morning planted a Cross of Remembrance in the Field of Remembrance at St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1.

Her Majesty afterwards joined a Reception in St Margaret’s Church.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales this morning attended the World Leaders Summit at the United Nations Climate Change Conference, Parque da Cidade, Belém.

His Royal Highness today called upon The President of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon called upon The King and Queen of Sweden.

His Royal Highness later met young people participating in the British Council’s Young People’s programme at Museo Emilio Goeldi, Avenue Magalhães Barata, Belém.

The Prince of Wales this evening attended a Reception with World Leaders at the United Nations Climate Change Conference, Parque da Cidade.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning received the Hon Wendy Cocchia (Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia) at St James’s Palace.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, afterwards held a Meeting.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, London Youth, later attended a Reception at Christ Church Spitalfields, Commercial Street, London E1, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Outward Bound Trust, this evening held a Dinner at St James’s Palace.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening departed Heathrow Airport, London, for Australia.

Colonel John Boyd and Captain Fergus Lupton are in attendance.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Air Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Auxiliary Air Force, this morning received Air Vice-Marshal Joanne Lincoln upon assuming her appointment as Commandant General.

Warrant Officer Christopher Peacock (Command Warrant Officer) was present.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Pestalozzi International Foundation, later held an Afternoon Tea at Buckingham Palace.

The Duke of Gloucester and The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Friends of St Paul’s Cathedral, and Patron, St Paul’s Cathedral Chorister Trust, this evening attended a Concert, followed by a Reception in support of St Paul’s Cathedral Trust in America, in St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4.
