The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening held a Dinner for representatives of the Australian Award at Windsor Castle.

The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Peru and was received this evening upon arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport, Lima, by His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Peru (His Excellency Mr Gavin Cook).

Mr Alexander Stonor and Mrs Angus Galletley are in attendance.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out the following engagements in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Her Royal Highness this morning visited Victoria Police Memorial, St Kilda Road, Kings Domain, and laid a wreath.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Australian Corps of Signals, and Royal Patron, Certa Cito Foundation, later visited Simpson Barracks and attended a Reception to mark the Centenary of the Corps.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Australian Corps of Signals, this afternoon visited the Corps’ Museum at Simpson Barracks.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, later held an Investiture at Government House, Victoria.

Her Royal Highness subsequently called upon the Governor of Victoria (Professor the Hon Margaret Gardner) and Professor Glyn Davis at Government House.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, afterwards attended a Reception at Government House given by the Governor of Victoria and Professor Davis to mark the Centenary of Royal Australian Corps of Signals.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner at Government House given by the Governor of Victoria and Professor Glyn Davis.
