The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Anglian Regiment, this morning received Colonel Simon Browne upon relinquishing his appointment as Deputy Colonel of the Regiment and Brigadier Oliver Brown upon assuming the appointment.

The Sultan of Oman and Her Highness the Hon Lady visited The Queen today.
Her Majesty held a Council via video link at 2.30pm.
There were present: the Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Nadine Dorries MP (Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport), the Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP (Secretary of State for Health and Social Care) and the Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP (Secretary of State for Transport).
The Rt Hon Nigel Adams MP, the Rt Hon Dorothy Bain, the Rt Hon Simon Clarke MP and the Rt Hon Robert Stewart MP were sworn in as members of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council.
Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.
The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen via telephone this evening.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Foundation, this evening attended a Christmas Carol Concert at St Paul’s Church — Knightsbridge, 32a Wilton Place, London SW1.
The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Helen and Douglas House, and Royal Patron, Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, today received children and young people from the charities and helped them to decorate the Christmas Tree at Clarence House.
Her Royal Highness this afternoon received Captain Darren Houston upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer of HMS Prince of Wales and Captain Stephen Higham upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, International Police Association (Section UK), this afternoon visited the Arthur Troop Training Centre, Skegness Police Station, Park Avenue, Skegness, and was received by Mr William Webb (Deputy Lieutenant of Lincolnshire).
The Princess Royal, President, the Mission to Seafarers Limited, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Carol Service at All Hallows by the Tower, Byward Street, London EC3, followed by a Reception at Trinity House, London EC3.
