The King and Queen gave a Luncheon Party for the Companions of the Most Noble Order of the Garter at which The Prince of Wales, The Duke of York, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and The Duke of Kent were present.

Buckingham Palace

His Majesty was present at The King’s Birthday Parade on Horse Guards Parade this morning at which The King’s Colour of Number 7 Company Coldstream Guards was Trooped.

The King was accompanied by The Queen (Colonel, Grenadier Guards), The Duke of Edinburgh (Colonel, Scots Guards), The Prince of Wales (Colonel, Welsh Guards), The Princess of Wales (Colonel, Irish Guards) and The Princess Royal (Gold Stick in Waiting and Colonel, The Blues and Royals, Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons).

His Majesty was attended by Lieutenant General Sir Edward Smyth-Osbourne (Colonel, The Life Guards), Lieutenant General Sir James Bucknall (Colonel, Coldstream Guards) and Major General James Bowder (Major General Commanding Household Division).

The Lord Ashton (Master of the Horse), Colonel Toby Browne, Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Segrave (Mounted Equerries in Waiting), Lieutenant Colonel Michael Vernon, Captain Hugh Scrope (Dismounted Equerries in Waiting) and Colonel Mark Berry (The Life Guards, Silver Stick in Waiting) were in attendance.

Colonel Guy Stone (Chief of Staff), Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Griffin (Silver Stick Adjutant), Colonel Jeremy Bagshaw (Regimental Adjutant, Coldstream Guards) and the Household Division Staff were present.

The Procession was led by Lieutenant Colonel Charles Foinette, Coldstream Guards (Brigade Major Household Division).

The troops on Parade, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Storm Green, Coldstream Guards (Field Officer in Brigade Waiting), received The King with a Royal Salute.

Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales, The Duchess of Edinburgh, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and other Members of the Royal Family drove to Horse Guards Parade and witnessed The King’s Birthday Parade.

On the conclusion of the Parade, His Majesty drove in a carriage back to Buckingham Palace at the head of The King’s Guard, preceded by The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, under the command of Major Luke Wadman, the Massed Mounted Bands of the Household Cavalry, the Sovereign’s Escort of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, under the command of Major Charles Onslow (The Blues and Royals, Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), and the Massed Bands of the Guards Division.

On arrival at Buckingham Palace, The King’s Guard entered the Forecourt and formed up opposite the Old Guard, the remaining Guards marching past His Majesty. The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and The King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery ranked past The King.

His Majesty, from Buckingham Palace, witnessed a fly-past by aircraft of the Royal Air Force, led by Wing Commander Andrew Watson, to mark the official celebration of The King’s Birthday.

Royal Salutes were fired today by The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery in Green Park and from the Tower of London Saluting Battery by the Honourable Artillery Company, under the command of Captain Karl Mackenzie.

The King, Colonel-in-Chief, this morning presented new Colours to the 1st Battalion and No 7 Company Coldstream Guards in the Quadrangle of Windsor Castle, which celebrates the Regiment’s three hundred and seventy-fifth anniversary.

Having been received upon arrival by the Colonel of the Regiment (Lieutenant General Sir James Bucknall), His Majesty was received on Parade with a Royal Salute.

The King then inspected the Parade.

After the presentation of new Colours, His Majesty was graciously pleased to address the Regiment and the Regimental Lieutenant Colonel (Colonel Toby Till) replied.

The Parade subsequently Marched Past The King.

The Queen, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, this evening attended the Senior Colonels’ Conference at Clarence House.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales this morning received the Director of Special Forces at Windsor Castle.

His Royal Highness, Colonel, Welsh Guards, this evening attended the Senior Colonels’ Conference at Clarence House.

The Princess of Wales, Colonel, Irish Guards, was represented by Major General Christopher Ghika (Regimental Lieutenant Colonel, Irish Guards).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Tennis and Rackets Association, and Royal Patron, the Queen’s Club, this afternoon attended the Women’s Lawn Tennis Championships at Palliser Road, London W14.

His Royal Highness, Colonel, Scots Guards, this evening attended the Senior Colonels’ Conference at Clarence House.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Rochester Cathedral Trust, this morning visited the gardens of Rochester Cathedral and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent (the Lady Colgrain).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited St George’s Church, Benenden, the Green, Benenden, Kent.

The Princess Royal, Colonel, The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), this evening presided over a Conference attended by the Colonels of the Regiments of the Household Division at Clarence House.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, George Cross Island Association, this morning attended a Service of Dedication at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Sir Ian Dudson).

The King this morning received Professor Muhammad Yunus (Chief Adviser of the Interim Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh).

Ms Victoria Busby was received by His Majesty upon relinquishing her appointment as Vice-Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps and delivered up to The King her Chain of Office.

Mr Scott Furssedonn-Wood was received by His Majesty and received his Chain of Office upon his appointment as Vice-Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps.

His Excellency Mr Seyed Ali Mousavi was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Zahra Shakouri was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr José Gonçalves Martins Patrício was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Angola to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Patrício was also received by His Majesty.

Sir Oliver Robbins (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

Mr Peter Wilson was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as His Majesty’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.

Mrs Roma Wilson was also received by The King.

His Majesty, Royal Founding President, The King’s Foundation, this afternoon attended the Annual Awards Ceremony at St James’s Palace, marking the Thirty Fifth Anniversary of the Foundation.

The King this evening held a Reception at Windsor Castle for recipients of The King’s Award for Enterprise at which The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

His Majesty was represented by Dame Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle (His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast) at the Service of Thanksgiving for Sir Kenneth Bloomfield (former Head of the Northern Ireland Civil Service) which was held in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, this morning.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this afternoon met representatives of organisations who supported the restoration of peatland at Tor Royal Bog, Princetown, Devon.

His Royal Highness later met first responders who fought recent fires on the North Moor of Dartmoor National Park.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Medical Research Scotland, this morning attended a Researcher Conference at the Technology and Innovation Centre, the University of Strathclyde, 99 George Street, Glasgow, and was received by Mr John MacLeod (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow).

Her Royal Highness, President, Victim Support Scotland, this afternoon attended a Volunteer Conference at 200 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, to mark their Fortieth Anniversary.

The Duke of Gloucester, President, Christ’s Hospital, this morning received Mr Simon Reid upon relinquishing his appointment as Head Teacher and Chief Executive Officer.

The following were received in audience by The King this afternoon and kissed hands upon their appointment as His Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mr Nicholas Abbott (the Republic of Albania), Mr David Ashley (the Republic of South Sudan), Ms Elizabeth Boyles (the Republic of Lithuania) and Ms Anne Sherriff (the Kingdom of Belgium).

Mrs Abbott, Mrs Ashley, Mr Patrick Dens and Mr Jayd Davies were also received by His Majesty.

Mr Simon Mustard was received in audience by The King upon his appointment as British High Commissioner to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.

Mrs Mustard was also received by His Majesty.

The King received Mrs Oleksandra Matviichuk (Head of the Center for Civil Liberties) and Ms Anna Nazaryk (International Advocacy Manager).

The King held a Council at 4.30pm.

There were present: the Rt Hon Lucy Powell MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Yvette Cooper MP (Secretary of State for the Home Department), the Rt Hon Ian Murray MP (Secretary of State for Scotland) and the Rt Hon Steven Reed MP (Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs).

The King, Duke of Lancaster today visited Lancashire and was received at Lancaster Railway Station by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Mrs Amanda Parker).

His Majesty drove to Lancaster Castle and was received by the Chairman of the Council of the Duchy of Lancaster (Sir James Leigh-Pemberton) and the Mayor of Lancaster (Councillor Margaret Pattison).

The Constable (Mrs Pamela Barker) surrendered to The King the Keys of the Castle, which His Majesty returned to her.

His Majesty attended a Reception in the Castle Cafe with representatives from local charities, businesses and schools, before meeting members of the public and a local Commonwealth veterans support group in the Castle grounds.

The King later visited Whitewell Coronation Woodland Garden and was received by the Mayor of Ribble Valley (Councillor Simon O’Rourke).

His Majesty toured the garden, viewing a demonstration of dry stone walling and meeting volunteers and members of the parish council.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall today chaired a Meeting of The Prince’s Council at Windsor Castle.

St James’s Palace

The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning visited Growing Together Community Project at Blackthorn Good Neighbours Nursery, Blackthorn Bridge Court, Blackthorn, Northampton, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire (Mr James Saunders Watson).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Northampton Museum and Art Gallery, 4-6 Guildhall Road, Northampton.

The Prince of Wales, Founder and President, the Earthshot Prize, this morning departed Heathrow Airport, London, for Monaco and was received upon arrival at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport by His Majesty’s Ambassador to the French Republic (Her Excellency Dame Menna Rawlings).

His Royal Highness joined the Earthshot Prize finalists, winners and key partners at the Grimaldi Forum, 10 Avenue Princesse Grace, Monaco.

The Prince of Wales called upon The Prince of Monaco.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended the Closing Session of the Blue Economy Finance Forum at the Grimaldi Forum.

The Prince of Wales afterwards attended an Oceans Innovation and Investment Meeting at the Grimaldi Forum.

His Royal Highness later arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Monaco.

Mr Ian Patrick was in attendance.

The King, Patron, Royal Windsor Rose and Horticultural Society, this morning visited the Annual Flower Show, of which His Majesty is Patron, in the Great Park, Windsor.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment) Regimental Association, this afternoon unveiled a bronze figurehead of Queen Elizabeth II as an addition to The Royal Scots Monument at West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, followed by a Reception and Beating Retreat at The Royal Scots Club, 29-31 Abercromby Place, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Robert Aldridge, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness was represented by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence at the Service of Thanksgiving for Mr William Nunneley which was held at the Parish Church of St Andrew, Naunton, Gloucestershire, this morning.
