The Duke of Edinburgh, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning attended a Reception with Key Stakeholders at the Senedd, Pierhead Street, Cardiff, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Mrs Morfudd Meredith).

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, afterwards met young people participating in the Award at the Pierhead, Cardiff.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Awareness Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner at the Lansdowne Club, 9 Fitzmaurice Place, London W1.

The Princess Royal this afternoon arrived at Jersey Airport and was received by the Lieutenant-Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Bailiwick of Jersey (Vice Admiral Sir Jeremy Kyd) and the Bailiff (Mr. Robert MacRae).

Her Royal Highness visited Jersey Opera House, Gloucester Street, St Helier, to mark its One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary.

The Princess Royal afterwards unveiled a portrait of The King and Queen at Royal Court Building, Royal Square, St Helier.

Her Royal Highness subsequently visited the Royal Air Forces Association (Jersey Branch) to mark its Centenary, Royal Court Building.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, later attended the Annual Lecture at Jersey Opera House.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, this evening attended a Dinner at Government House, St Saviour.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies, this evening attended a Reception at 61 Whitehall, London SW1, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa) and afterwards attended a Dinner commemorating His Royal Highness’ Ninetieth Birthday and Fiftieth Anniversary as President of the Institute.

Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy was represented by Mr James Ogilvy at the Service of Thanksgiving for Mrs Peter Afia (Lady in Waiting to Her Royal Highness) which was held at St Andrew’s Church, Shifnal, Shropshire, this afternoon.
