The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this morning visited the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Mumbles Pier, Mumbles, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Glamorgan (Mr Byron Lewis).

Their Royal Highnesses later visited Joe’s Ice Cream Parlour, 526 Mumbles Road, Mumbles.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon visited Tata Steel, Tata Steel Strip Products UK, Port Talbot Works, Port Talbot, West Glamorgan.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Bulldogs Boxing, Fenbrook Close, Port Talbot.

The Earl of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Nigeria and was received this afternoon upon arrival at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, by Ms Harriet Thompson (British Deputy High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria).

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner at the Wheatbaker, 4 Onitolo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Disability Initiative, this morning held a Reception.

The Princess Royal this morning visited Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex to mark its Thirtieth Anniversary, Redhill Aerodrome, Redhill, and was received by Dr Helen Bowcock (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

Her Royal Highness later visited Biwater International Limited, Biwater House, Station Approach, Dorking, and was received by Sir Adrian White (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited the School of Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Pathology Centre, and opened the Large Animals Clinical Studies Facilities, the University of Surrey, Daphne Jackson Road, Guildford, and was received by Mr William Biddell (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey).

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this morning received Surgeon Rear Admiral Lionel Jarvis (Prior of England and the Islands) and Ms Sarah Duthie (Director of Priory and International Affairs).

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Japan Society, this afternoon attended a Luncheon given by the Ambassador of Japan (His Excellency Mr Yasumasa Nagamine) at the Residence in London.

The Duke of Gloucester this evening attended a Reception to celebrate the Centenary of the foundation of the Young Men’s Christian Association Indian Student Hostel in London, 41 Fitzroy Square, London W1, and was received by Sir William Atkinson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Queen, Honorary Air Commodore, today visited Royal Air Force Marham, King’s Lynn, and was received this morning at the Integrated Learning Centre by the Station Commander (Group Captain James Beck). Her Majesty was received with a Royal Salute and inspected the Guard of Honour.

The Queen moved into the Integrated Learning Centre and met current and former Officers Commanding the Centre, and Station personnel.

Her Majesty received a demonstration of virtual training in the Air System Maintenance Trainer Classroom and viewed demonstrations of a canopy change, a weapons load and engine maintenance in the Integrated Learning Centre Hangar.

The Queen observed the vertical landing of an F-35B Lightning stealth fighter jet and drove past landed aircraft on a runway.

Her Majesty this afternoon attended a Reception in the Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess, and was subsequently entertained to Luncheon in the Officers’ Mess by the Station Commander.

The Lord Bethell (Lord-in-Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport London this morning upon the Arrival of The Sultan of Brunei Darussalam and welcomed His Majesty on behalf of The Queen.

The Princess Royal, Perpetual Master, the Worshipful Company of Saddlers, this afternoon attended the National Saddle and Bridle Competition, Saddlers’ Hall, 40 Gutter Lane, London EC2.

Her Royal Highness, Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, this evening attended the United Kingdom Chamber of Shipping Annual Dinner at London Hilton on Park Lane, 22 Park Lane, London W1, and was received by Vice-Admiral Sir Adrian Johns (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
