Her Excellency Ms Carla Maria Rodriguez Mancia was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Guatemala to the Court of St James’s.

His Excellency Mr Jeroen Cooreman was received in audience by His Majesty and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Belgium to the Court of St James’s.

His Excellency Professor Stephen Montefort was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Malta in London.

Mrs Montefort was also received by His Majesty.

The Princess Royal this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Greece and was received this evening upon arrival at Athens International Airport by His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic (His Excellency Mr Matthew Lodge).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Welsh Rugby Union, and Her Royal Highness, Patron, Rugby Football Union, subsequently attended the Six Nations Rugby Match between Wales and England at the Principality Stadium.

Ms Lindy Cameron was received in audience by The King upon her appointment as British High Commissioner to the Republic of India.

Sir Alexander Ellis was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and non-resident Ambassador to the Principality of Andorra.

Lady Ellis was also received by His Majesty.

Mr Gregory Peters (Usher of the Black Rod of the Senate of Canada) was received by The King when a new Ceremonial Sword was bestowed by His Majesty.

By command of His Majesty, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency the Hon Philip Goff at 1 Pall Mall East, London SW1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for New Zealand in London.

The Duke of Gloucester today attended a Service of Dedication to those who served in Two World Wars from the Commonwealth at Nottingham City War Memorial, Victoria Embankment, Nottingham, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire (Professor Veronica Pickering).

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon for the Nottinghamshire Lieutenancy Commonwealth Group at Welbeck Hall, Welbeck Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham.

The King this morning attended the Graduation of the One Thousandth King’s Nursing Cadet at the Royal College of Nursing, 20 Cavendish Square, London W1, and was received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London) and the General Secretary and Chief Executive of the Royal College of Nursing (Professor Nicola Ranger).
