Her Royal Highness, Patron, Beef Shorthorn Cattle Society, this afternoon attended a Members’ Development Day, Low Stonehills Farm, Fraisthorpe, Bridlington, and was received by Mr Stephen Larard (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of East Riding of Yorkshire).

By command of Her Majesty, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps called upon His Excellency Mr Jose Enrique Castillo Barrantes at 23 Woodstock Street, London W1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Costa Rica to the Court of St James’s.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the St Nazaire Society, was represented by Mr Nicholas Beattie (Chairman) at the Service of Thanksgiving for Major General Corran Purdon (Life President), which was held at the Parish Church of St John the Baptist, Long Street, Devizes, Wiltshire, this afternoon.
