The Queen, Visitor, University of East Anglia, this morning visited the Fiji: Art and Life in the Pacific exhibition at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, University of East Anglia, Norwich, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (Mr. Richard Jewson), the High Commissioner of the Republic of Fiji (His Excellency Mr. Jitoko Tikolevu), the Vice Chancellor of the University (Professor David Richardson) and the Lord Mayor of Norwich (Mrs. Marion Maxwell).

Her Majesty toured the galleries, escorted by Professor Steven Hooper (Curator), and afterwards met Fijian students studying at the University, Fijians living in the United Kingdom, staff and volunteers.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Duke of Edinburgh was represented by Mr. Martin Harris (Headmaster, Cheam School) at the Memorial Service for Mr. James Taylor which was held in the School Chapel, Headley, Berkshire, this afternoon.
