Her Majesty, escorted by the Chairman and Trustee of the Friends of St. Peter’s (Mr. Peter Williamson), unveiled a commemorative board to mark the Diamond Jubilee and listened to choral performances by the Church Choir and Berkhamsted School’s Chamber Choir.

The Queen, Patron, afterwards visited Berkhamsted School on the occasion of the Four Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of its foundation and was received by the Principal (Mr. Richard Backhouse) and the Chairman of Governors (Mr. Gavin Laws). Her Majesty inspected the Combined Cadet Force.

The Queen attended a Reception for County and local charities and schools.

Her Majesty was entertained to Luncheon by the Principal and afterwards listened to a performance by the School’s Big Band.
