The Hon Manon Jeannotte was received in audience by The King today upon her appointment as Lieutenant Governor of Quebec.

His Majesty this afternoon held a Reception at Buckingham Palace for medallists of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, at which The Princess Royal and The Duchess of Gloucester were present.

Later The King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to mark the year of His Majesty’s Silver Jubilee, visited The King and remained to Tea.

The Queen, Patron, the Royal British Legion Poppy Factory, was represented by The Duchess of Gloucester this morning when Her Royal Highness planted a Cross of Remembrance in the Royal British Legion Field of Remembrance at St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1.

The Prince of Wales later departed Cape Town International Airport for the United Kingdom.
