By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Gabriel Mharadze Machinga at Zimbabwe House, 429 Strand, London WC2, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Court of St James’s.

By command of Her Majesty, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps called upon His Excellency Mr Kim Traavik at 25 Belgrave Square, London SW1, later in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Norway to the Court of St James’s.

By command of The Queen, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps called upon His Excellency Mr Thambynathan Jasudasen at 9 Wilton Crescent, London SW1, today in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of Singapore in London.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, and The Duchess of Rothesay today visited the Ballater Highland Games, Monaltrie Park, Ballater, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr James Ingleby).

The Queen has been pleased to appoint Colonel George Butler to be one of Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms upon the retirement of Major General Jonathan Hall.

The appointment to date from 11th August 2014.
