Their Royal Highnesses called upon The President of the Republic of Malta at the Grandmaster’s Palace, St George’s Square, Valletta.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh afterwards called upon the Prime Minister of the Republic of Malta (the Rt Hon Dr Robert Abela) at Auberge de Castille, Castille Square, Valletta.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening attended a Commonwealth Reception given by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malta at the Residence in Valletta.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, with The President of the Republic of Malta and The President Emeritus of the Republic of Malta, later attended a Dinner given by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malta at the Residence.
