Balmoral Castle
The King and Queen this morning visited the Albert Memorial Hall in Ballater to mark its One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Dr Alexander Manson) and the Chairman of Trustees of Victoria and Albert Halls (Ballater) Trust (Professor Gordon Riddler).
Their Majesties, escorted by the Chairman of Trustees and Mrs Lyndsey Boden (Halls Manager, Victoria and Albert Halls, Ballater Trust), met local primary school pupils and representatives of community groups which use the Hall, and viewed a musical performance.
The King this afternoon received representatives from the Sustainable Markets Initiative at Buckingham Palace.
The King, with The Prince of Wales, in advance of the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (Cop30) in Brazil, this evening attended an Event at the Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, London SW7, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of Trustees of the Museum (the Lord Hall of Birkenhead), Dr Douglas Gurr (Museum Director) and the Ambassador from the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Court of St James’s (His Excellency Mr Antonio de Aguiar Patriota).
His Majesty and His Royal Highness, escorted by the Chairman and Director, viewed nature themed exhibits and displays, and met representatives from the United Kingdom and international environmental sector.
Kensington Palace
The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, today visited Home Start Oxford at Rose Hill Community Centre, Carole’s Way, Oxford, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mrs Marjorie Glasgow).
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Air Commodore, this morning attended a Parade at Royal Air Force Waddington, Lincoln, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr Toby Dennis).
His Royal Highness, Honorary Member, the Association of Friends of Lincoln Cathedral, this afternoon visited Lincoln Cathedral and was received by Mr Andrew Clark (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire).
The Duke of Edinburgh subsequently visited Heritage Lincoln’s “Wonky House”, 40-42 Michaelgate, Lincoln.
The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning visited ActionAid UK’s “Women By Women” photography exhibition at Oxo Gallery, Oxo Tower Wharf, Bargehouse Street, London SE1.
Her Royal Highness today received an Honorary Fellowship from the College of Optometrists at Apothecaries’ Hall, Black Friars Lane, London EC4.
The Duchess of Edinburgh, Ambassador, Women of the Future Programme, this evening held a Reception at St James’s Palace.
St James’s Palace
The Princess Royal this morning visited Carterton Women’s Institute, Women’s Institute Hall, 1 Brize Norton Road, Carterton, to mark its Centenary and was received by Mrs Alison Derham (Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).
Her Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Brize Norton, later visited 24 Squadron to mark its One Hundred and Tenth Anniversary, Royal Air Force Brize Norton, Carterton, and was received by Brigadier Dr Dennis Blease (Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).
The Princess Royal, Patron, Friends of the Elderly, this afternoon opened the Friends Place Care Home, the Chase, Calcot, Reading, and was received by Mr Richard Anderson (Deputy Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).
Her Royal Highness, Grand Master, the Royal Victorian Order, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended Evensong and a Reception at The King’s Chapel of the Savoy, Savoy Hill, London WC2.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Guild of the Royal Hospital of St Bartholomew, this evening attended the reopening of the Great Hall, Barts North Wing, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, West Smithfield, London EC1.
