His Royal Highness later called upon the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce at the Chamber in Al Khobar, and remained for a Round Table Meeting with representatives of the oil and gas sectors.

The Duke of York afterwards visited Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic in Al Khobar.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon given by the Chairman of Al Zamil Group in Al Khobar.

The Duke of York subsequently called upon the Governor of Eastern Province (Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz al Saud) and the Deputy Governor of Eastern Province (Prince Jalawi Bin Abdul Aziz Bin Mosaad Al-Saud) at the office of the Governor of Eastern Province in Al Khobar.

His Royal Highness later called upon the Chief Executive of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company at the company’s offices in Al Khobar.

The Duke of York this evening attended a Dinner given by the Chairman of Xenel Industries at the Xenel Industries Beach House in Jeddah and was received by Her Majesty’s Consul-General for Jeddah (Mr Mohammed Showkat).

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Uganda.
