Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Germany.

Mr James Lowther-Pinkerton, Mr Christopher Kealey, Mr Miguel Head and Mrs. Hannah Howard were in attendance.

The Duke of York today carried out the following engagements in Afghanistan.

His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief , The Royal Irish Regiment (27th (Inniskilling), 83rd, 87th and The Ulster Defence Regiment), this morning visited the First Battalion, The Royal Irish Regiment at Forward Operating Base Shawqat.

The Duke of York afterwards visited Task Force Helmand in Lashkar Gah.

His Royal Highness, Royal Colonel , The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, later visited Service Personnel and Provincial Reconstruction Teams in Lashkar Gah.

The Duke of York, Commodore-in-Chief, Fleet Air Arm, this afternoon visited the Joint Helicopter Force (Afghanistan) at Camp Bastion.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Services Sound and Vision Corporation, this evening visited the British Forces Broadcasting Service at Camp Bastion.

The Duke of York, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Lossiemouth, subsequently visited 14 Squadron and Service personnel in Kandahar.

Prince William of Wales this evening attended the Christmas Spectacular in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust at Thursford Collection, Thursford, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (Mr Richard Jewson).

Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon departed Heathrow Airport, London, and was received later upon arrival at Berlin Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany (His Excellency Mr Simon McDonald).

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Reception at the British Embassy in Berlin for sportsmen and women.

This evening Prince Henry of Wales attended a Gala at which His Royal Highness was presented with a Golden Heart Award.
