Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and Ministry of Defence Medal Office at Innsworth House, Imjin Barracks, and was received by Mr Mark Hurrell (Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

Dr Timothy Evans was received by The King this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as Apothecary to Queen Elizabeth II and Apothecary to the Royal Household, when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Mr Stuart Anderson MP (Vice-Chamberlain of the Household) was received in audience by The King and presented an Address from the House of Commons to which His Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.
