The President joined a Meeting with senior company representatives which was held by His Excellency Bang Moon-Kyu (Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy).

The President of the Republic of Korea afterwards visited the United Kingdom-Korea Science Forum at the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1, and was received by The Duchess of Edinburgh, the President of the Royal Society (Sir Adrian Smith), the Rt Hon Michelle Donelan MP (Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology) and His Excellency Mr Lee Jong-ho (Minister of Science and Information and Communications Technology).

The President, accompanied by Her Royal Highness, viewed exhibits from the Royal Society Archives before listening to Presentations about the mission of science and technology and the importance of global co-operation, which was followed by a Panel Discussion.

The President of the Republic of Korea this afternoon visited 10 Downing Street where His Excellency viewed the United Kingdom-Korea Treaty of 1883.

The President had talks with the Prime Minister and remained to Tea, before Signing the Downing Street Accord: a United Kingdom-Republic of Korea Global Strategic Partnership.

The Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer MP (Leader of the Opposition), accompanied by the Rt Hon David Lammy MP (Shadow Foreign Secretary), the Rt Hon Angela Rayner MP (Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities) and Mr Mark Simpson MP (Head of International Policy) later called upon The President.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee this evening received an Address of Welcome and were entertained at a Banquet by the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor and the City of London Corporation at Guildhall.

The King held a Council at 10.30am.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee today commenced a State Visit to The King and Queen.

The Prince and Princess of Wales welcomed The President and Mrs Kim on behalf of The King at the Four Seasons Hotel, 10 Trinity Square, London EC3.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee, accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses, drove to Horse Guards and were met by The King and Queen.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee, accompanied by The King and Queen, drove in a Carriage Procession to Buckingham Palace with a Sovereign’s Escort of the Household Cavalry.

Gun Salutes were fired in Green Park by The King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, and at the Tower of London by the Honourable Artillery Company.

Guards of Honour were provided at Horse Guards by F Company Scots Guards and at Buckingham Palace by 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.

His Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms, The King’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard and a Detachment of Household Cavalry were on duty.

The King presented The President of the Republic of Korea with the Insignia of an Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Civil Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee, accompanied by The Duke of Gloucester, this afternoon visited the Korean War Memorial, Victoria Embankment Gardens, London SW1, where The President and Mrs Kim laid a wreath and His Royal Highness, Patron, the British Korean Veterans Association, also laid a wreath.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee subsequently met United Kingdom Korean War veterans.

The President and Mrs Kim afterwards drove to Westminster Abbey where His Excellency laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.

The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee met General Sir Adrian Bradshaw (Governor of the Royal Hospital Chelsea) and In-Pensioners who fought in the Korean War, before touring the Abbey, escorted by the Dean (the Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle).

The President and Mrs Kim afterwards drove to the Palace of Westminster and were received by the Lord Speaker (the Lord McFall of Alcluith) and the Speaker of the House of Commons (the Rt Hon Sir Lindsay Hoyle).

The Speaker welcomed The President of the Republic of Korea and Mrs Kim Keon Hee and His Excellency delivered an Address.

The President and Mrs Kim subsequently attended a Reception with Peers, Members of Parliament and other guests.

The Princess Royal, Patron, National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, this morning visited Gibraltar Citizens Advice Bureau, 10 Governor’s Lane, Gibraltar, to mark its Twentieth Anniversary.

Her Royal Highness later opened the renovated premises of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment Association at 122 Irish Town.

The Princess Royal afterwards met representatives of the Emergency Services and members of the Armed Forces at the Convent, 285 Main Street.

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, subsequently visited specialist vehicles provider Bassadone Automotive Group, the Dockyard, 78 Queensway Road.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Gibraltar.

The King and Queen were present at the Service of Thanksgiving for the late Earl of Airlie KT (Lord Chamberlain to The late Queen Elizabeth II) which was held in the Chapel of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London SW3, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Miss Helen Asprey.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were represented by Mrs Angus Galletley.

The Princess Royal was represented by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.

The Duke of Kent was represented by Earl of St Andrews.

Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy was represented by Mr James Ogilvy and Miss Marina Ogilvy.

Later The King received the Bishop of Lincoln (the Right Reverend Stephen Conway) who did homage upon his appointment.

Afterwards His Majesty received the Bishop of Winchester (the Right Reverend Philip Mounstephen who did homage upon his appointment.

The Bishop of Carlisle (Clerk of the Closet) was in attendance and administered the Oath.

The King handed to the Bishop of Winchester the Badge and Chain of Office upon his appointment as Prelate of the Most Noble Order of the Garter.
