The King this morning officially opened 8 Doors Distillery, John O’Groats, Wick, and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Caithness (the Viscount Thurso) and the Co-Founders (Mr and Mrs Derek Campbell).
His Majesty toured the still room, tasting room and cask store, and met members of staff.
The King afterwards met members of the John O’Groats business community and local artisan food producers at the Old Forge and was received by the Chairman of John O’Groats Community Council (Mr Andrew Mowat).
