The Viscount Hood (Lord in Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The Emir of the State of Qatar and Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser AlMissned and welcomed Their Highnesses on behalf of The Queen.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning attended a Morrison’s Sustainable Farm Conference at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon opened the new Northumberland Fire and Rescue Headquarters, Community Fire Station, West Hartford Business Park, Cramlington, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Northumberland (the Duchess of Northumberland).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Wansbeck Centre for Voluntary Services, 107-109 Station Road, Ashington.

The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this morning visited the London School of Economics, Houghton Street, London WC2.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Export Credits Guarantee Department, 2 Exchange Tower, Harbour Exchange Square, London E14.

The Duke of York this evening gave a Reception at St James’s Palace to mark the Twentieth Anniversary of City Fellowships.

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Dinner for representatives of the financial services sectors at UBS, 1 Finsbury Avenue, London EC2.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning held a Trustees’ Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Tennis and Rackets Association, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this evening attended a Dinner at Two Temple Place, London WC2.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Development Trust, this morning opened a supported living home at Bradbury House, Old Fort Road, Woodside, Oswestry, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire (Mr Algernon Heber-Percy).

Her Royal Highness today opened the new blending facility at Morris Lubricants, Castle Foregate, Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Caterpillar Defence Products at Lancaster Road, Shrewsbury.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Development Trust, later opened a supported living home at Rylands House, Curriers Lane, Shifnal, Shropshire.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Chairman of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences (United Kingdom Fund), this afternoon held a Meeting of the Trustees.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Reverend John Lee to be a Chaplain to Her Majesty in succession to the Reverend Canon Raymond Brazier.
