The President of the United States of America this morning visited No. 10 Downing Street and had talks with the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
The President of the United States of America and Mrs Obama later attended a Barbecue with United Kingdom and United States Armed Forces Personnel and their families at No. 10 Downing Street.
The President this afternoon visited the Palace of Westminster and was received by the Lord Great Chamberlain, the Lord Speaker (the Baroness Hayman) and the Rt Hon John Bercow MP (Speaker of the House of Commons).
The Speaker welcomed The President of the United States of America and The President delivered a Keynote Address.
The President of the United States of America later attended a Reception at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London W1.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were entertained this evening at a Dinner given by The President of the United States of America and Mrs Obama at Winfield House, Regent’s Park, London NW1.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, British Trust for Conservation Volunteers, this morning received Dr Rupert Evenett upon relinquishing his position as Chairman and Ms Rita Clifton upon assuming the appointment.
Mr Tom Flood (Chief Executive) was present.
His Royal Highness received Mr Martin Palmer (Director, Alliance of Religions and Conservation), Dr Dimitri Oikonomou (Trustee, Alliance of Religion and Conservation) and His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion (Metropolitan of Volokolamsk).
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Lord Morris of Aberavon KG at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Lord Bingham of Cornhill KG, which was held in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, this evening.
The Princess Royal was represented by Professor Graham Zellick.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Service in The Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy, London WC2, to mark the Tenth Anniversary of the ARC Addington Fund, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment, later held a Dinner at St James’s Palace.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, later visited King David High School, Childwall Road, Liverpool.
His Royal Highness subsequently opened the new Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology National Health Service Trust, Aintree University Hospital Site, Longmoor Lane, Liverpool.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Meningitis Trust, this morning attended the Twenty Fifth Anniversary Open Day at Fern House, Bath Road, Stroud, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the Women’s Centre, Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, Great Western Road, Gloucester, Gloucestershire.
