The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, Model Yachting Association, this afternoon attended the International Sailing Federation World Championships for the International One Metre Class at West Kirby Sailing Club, Sandy Lane, Wirral, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside (Dame Lorna Muirhead).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning opened the newly renovated Greenlaw Town Hall, Greenlaw, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Berwickshire (Major Alexander Trotter).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Abbotsford House, Melrose, Roxburghshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale (Captain the Hon Gerald Maitland-Carew).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay afterwards visited Knockroon development, East Ayrshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s LordLieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran (Mr John Duncan).

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Trust-Scotland, later met young chefs and supporters at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, the Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust, this evening held a Dinner at Dumfries House.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended the Hay Festival of Literature and the Arts, Hay-on-Wye, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Powys (the Hon Mrs. Legge-Bourke).

The Duchess of Rothesay this afternoon visited HMS Astute at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde, Faslane, Helensburgh.

Her Royal Highness, President, the Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centres Trust, this evening held a Reception at the Palace of Holyroodhouse to mark the Trust’s Fifteenth Anniversary.
