The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Anglian Regiment, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Woodise upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion.

His Royal Highness, President, Greenwich Foundation, this afternoon received Mr. Francis Plowden upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Sir Robert Crawford upon assuming the appointment, and Mr. Duncan Wilson upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive and Mr. Brendan McCarthy upon assuming the appointment.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal President, the Children’s Society, this afternoon received Mr. Robert Reitemeier upon relinquishing his appointment of Chief Executive.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Missing People, this evening was present at a Carol Service in St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, and afterwards attended a Reception in the Crypt, 8 St Martins Place, London WC2.

The Duke of Kent this evening opened the exhibition of photographs by Derry Moore to mark the publication of a “Glimpse of Empire” at the Indar Pasricha Fine Arts Gallery, 22 Connaught Street, London W2.

His Royal Highness, President, Royal Choral Society, this evening attended a Christmas Carol Concert at the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gore, London SW7.
