His Excellency Mr. Carlos dos Santos was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for Mozambique in London.
Mrs. dos Santos was also received by Her Majesty.
His Excellency Mr. Enrique Manalo was received in audience by Her Majesty and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Philippines to the Court of St. James’s.

The Queen, Captain General, Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery, received Lieutenant General Stuart Beare (Senior Serving Gunner) and Lieutenant General Michael Jeffery (Colonel Commandant).
Her Majesty, Patron, Commonwealth Forestry Association, this afternoon received Professor Jolanda Roux (winner of The Queen’s Award for Forestry).

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning met cadets from all Services at the Headquarters, Gloucestershire Army Cadet Force (The Rifles), the Cadet Centre, Arle Road, Cheltenham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
His Royal Highness later opened the new Astro Turf facility at All Saints’ Academy, Blaidson Way, Cheltenham.
The Earl of Wessex this afternoon opened the Roundhouse (wood working facility) at Inishfree Community Foundation Project, Roseclive, Rooksmore, Woodchester, Stroud, Gloucestershire.
His Royal Highness later opened the Armadillo Youth Venue and Café, Yate, and was received by Mr. Robert Bernays (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).
The Countess of Wessex this morning visited Uxbridge College, Uxbridge Campus, Park Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex, and was received by Wing Commander Edna Partridge (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Countess of Wessex, Chairman, Women in Business (promoting The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award), later attended a Committee Meeting at the offices of Williams de Broe, 100 Wood Street, London EC2.
Her Royal Highness this evening attended the London Fire Brigade Carol Concert in Westminster Cathedral, London SW1, and was received by Wing Commander Michael Dudgeon (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).
