Prince Henry of Wales, representing The Queen, today carried out the following engagements in the Bahamas to mark Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.

His Royal Highness this morning met Government representatives at Government House, Nassau, and was received by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas (Sir Arthur Foulkes).

Prince Henry of Wales later attended a Service in Christ Church Cathedral, Nassau.

His Royal Highness this afternoon opened The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Exhibition in Rawson Square, Nassau.

Prince Henry of Wales afterwards visited HMBS Bahamas at Prince George Wharf and subseqeuently visited neighbouring Bahamian islands on patrol with the Royal Bahamian Defence Force.
