Buckingham Palace 

The Queen, Royal Colonel, was entertained to Luncheon at the Caledonian Club, 9 Halkin Street, London SW1, this afternoon by The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland and was received by the Representative Colonel of the Regiment (Colonel Bruce Russell).

Her Majesty held a Council at 5.30pm.

There were present: the Rt Hon Nicholas Clegg MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Daniel Alexander MP (Chief Secretary to the Treasury), the Rt Hon Andrew Lansley MP (Secretary of State for Health) and the Rt Hon James Paice MP (Minister of State, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs).

Mrs Ceri King was in attendance as Deputy Clerk of the Council.

The Rt Hon Nicholas Clegg MP had an audience of The Queen before the Council.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Founder and Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award World Fellowship, this afternoon held a Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.

His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, this evening held a Reception at Buckingham Palace.

Clarence House 

The Prince of Wales, Patron, this morning received the 2012 winners of the Ashden Awards for sustainable energy.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Drawing School, this afternoon held a Meeting at Clarence House.

The Prince of Wales afterwards attended a Round Table Discussion in support of Accounting for Sustainability at the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.

The Prince of Wales, President, Victoria Cross and George Cross Association, and The Duchess of Cornwall later attended a Reunion Service in the Church of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, followed by a Reception at the Naval and Military Club, 4 St James’s Square, London SW1.

His Royal Highness this evening held a Reception at Clarence House for the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust.

The Duchess of Cornwall today carried out the following engagements as part of the Chelsea Fringe Festival.

Her Royal Highness this morning visited Spitalfields City Farm, Buxton Street, London E1, and was received by Commander John Ludgate (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited the Oranges and Lemons Garden at St Leonard’s Church, Shoreditch High Street, Hackney, London E1.

Her Royal Highness later visited the Geffrye Museum, Kingsland Road, London E2.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Dalston Eastern Curve Garden, Dalston Lane, London E8.

St James’s Palace 

Prince Henry of Wales, Patron, the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry, this evening attended a Reception at St James’s Palace in support of the Foundation’s work with wounded Servicemen and women.

Buckingham Palace 

The Duke of York today visited Cumbria and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Sir James Cropper).

His Royal Highness this morning visited Structural Science Composites Limited, Phoenix Road, Barrow-inFurness.

The Duke of York this afternoon visited Forge Europa Limited, the Old Railway, Princes Street, Ulverston.

His Royal Highness later visited Carlisle College, Victoria Place, Carlisle.

The Duke of York afterwards visited Gen II Engineering and Technology Training Limited, Lillyhall Business Centre, Jubilee Road, Workington.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning attended a Meeting at Gulliver House, Madeira Walk, Windsor, Berkshire.

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal this morning departed Royal Air Force Northolt for Germay.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Corps of Signals, later attended a 20 Armoured Brigade Headquarters and 200 Signal Squadron Medal Parade at Normandy Barracks, Sennelager, Germany.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Army Veterinary Corps, this afternoon presented medals during 1 Military Working Dog Regiment Medal Parade at Chiron Barracks, Sennelager.

Mrs William Nunneley is in attendance.

Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this morning attended the Homecoming Parade of the Support Battalion Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps at Tewkesbury Abbey House, Church Street, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

His Royal Highness, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this afternoon presented medals at a Parade of the Support Battalion Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps at Imjin Barracks, Innsworth, Gloucestershire.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent this morning visited the Royal Opera House, London Road, Purfleet, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (the Lord Petre).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Thurrock Thameside Nature Park, Mucking, Essex.

The Duke of Kent afterwards visited the Marillac Care Home, Eagle Way, Warley, Brentwood, Essex.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park 

Princess Alexandra this afternoon visited Fairley House School, 218 Lambeth Road, London SE1, and was received by Mrs Rosemary Prescott (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
