Her Majesty afterwards unveiled the Canadian Diamond Jubilee Portrait at Buckingham Palace.

The Prime Minister of New Zealand (the Rt Hon John Key MP) was received by The Queen.

Her Majesty was entertained to Luncheon at Marlborough House this afternoon by His Excellency the Rt Hon Kamalesh Sharma (Commonwealth Secretary-General).

The Duke of York this afternoon received The President of the Republic of the Philippines.

His Royal Highness this evening attended the Diamond Jubilee Commonwealth Economic Forum at the Mansion House, London EC4.

The Duke of York afterwards attended a Reception to mark the re-opening of Canada House, Trafalgar Square, London SW1.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Northern Lighthouse Board, this afternoon visited Roseness Lighthouse, south east of Kirkwall, Orkney.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Northern Lighthouse Board, later visited Auskerry Lighthouse, Auskerry, off the Island of Stronsay, north east of Kirkwall.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this morning invested the Governor-General designate of Papua New Guinea (His Excellency Sir Michael Ogio) as a Knight of Justice of the Most Venerable Order.

Professor Anthony Mellows (Lord Prior) was present.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended the Royal Warrant Holders Association Annual Luncheon at the London Hilton Hotel, 22 Park Lane, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
