Her Royal Highness, Patron, Seagull Trust Cruises, this afternoon named a new boat for disabled passengers, MV Highland Cross Seagull, at Twin Jetties, Tomnahurich Bridge, Inverness, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Inverness (Donald Cameron of Lochiel).
The Princess Royal was officially installed this afternoon as Chancellor of the University of the Highlands and Islands in Inverness Cathedral.

The Duke of Gloucester today opened the Linden Arches in the Pump Room Gardens, Royal Leamington Spa, to celebrate The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire (Mr Martin Dunne).
