COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle 

The Queen this afternoon unveiled the Windsor and Eton Society Diamond Jubilee Tribute in King Edward’s Court, Windsor, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon Mrs Bayliss), the Chairman of the Diamond Jubilee Tribute Committee (Mr Andrew Melville) and the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (Councillor Colin Rayner).

Her Majesty listened to a performance by Windsor Girls’ School Choir and met members of the Tribute Committee and sponsors.

Clarence House 

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning opened Knockando Woolmill, Aberlour, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Moray (Lieutenant Colonel Grenville Johnston).

His Royal Highness today unveiled a Memorial to the Women’s Land Army at Clochan, Buckie, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire (Mrs Clare Russell).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this afternoon visited Aberlour Village to mark its Bicentenary.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Cambridge, President, the Football Association, and The Duchess of Cambridge today officially opened St. George’s Park, Newborough Road, Needwood, Staffordshire.

Buckingham Palace 

The Duke of York this morning opened Central Bedfordshire University Technical College, Parkside Drive, Houghton Regis, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire (Mrs Helen Nellis).

His Royal Highness later attended a Lunch at Trinity College, Cambridge, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mr Hugh Duberly).

The Duke of York this after-noon visited Ubisense Limited, St Andrew’s House, St Andrew’s Road, Chesterton, Cambridge.

His Royal Highness later visited Abcam plc, 330 Science Park, Cambridge.

The Duke of York this evening held a Reception for One Young World at St James’s Palace.

Buckingham Palace 

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Air Commodore, this afternoon presented Medals at the Royal Air Force Waddington Medal Parade, Lincolnshire.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, the Craft Guild of Chefs, this morning attended the Restaurant Show at Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre, Warwick Road, London SW5.

Her Royal Highness, President, Girlguiding UK, this afternoon opened Pine Lodge at the Willow Tree Centre, Breakspear Road North, Harefield, Middlesex, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal this morning visited the new State Hospital, 110 Lampits Road, Carstairs Junction, Lanark, and was received Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire (Mr Mushtaq Ahmad).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Eva Burrows First Stop Accommodation Project, Clyde Place, Cambuslang, Glasgow.

Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited All Saints Church Community Centre, Church View Road, Camborne, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

His Royal Highness today opened the White Building and the Seaton Building at Truro College, College Road, Truro, Cornwall.

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Patron, the British Museum, this afternoon visited the “Unwrapping the Past” gallery at Royal Cornwall Museum, River Street, Truro.

His Royal Highness later visited the Restoration Project at Boconnoc House, Boconnoc, Lostwithiel, Cornwall.

The Duke of Gloucester, President, the London Society, this evening attended a Reception to mark the Centenary of the London Society at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, West Smithfield, London EC1.

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning opened the new teaching block at Weston All Saints Church of England Primary School, Broadmoor Lane, Weston, Bath, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Lady Gass).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Assembly Rooms and Fashion Museum, Bath Assembly Rooms, Bennett Street, Bath.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent today attended National Day Celebrations in Kampala, Uganda.
