The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended a Veterans Aid Carol Service in the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Sir Alan Reid (Keeper of the Privy Purse and Treasurer to The Queen) at the Funeral of the Hon. Nicholas Assheton (formerly Treasurer and Extra Equerry to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother) which was held in St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1, this morning.
The Prince of Wales was represented by Mr Ashe Windham.
Clarence House
The Prince of Wales this afternoon presented The Prince of Wales’s Intelligence Community Awards to members of the Secret Intelligence Service, Security Service and Government Communications Headquarters, at St James’s Palace.
His Royal Highness, President, the Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust, afterwards held a Meeting.
The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Youth Business International, later held a Tea.

The Duke of York today received Mr Iain Evans (Global Chairman, LEK Consulting).
His Royal Highness, Patron, Council of British International Schools, this afternoon received Mr Trevor Rowell (Chairman) and Mr Colin Bell (Executive Director).
The Duke of York afterwards opened the offices of Audio Network UK at 54 St. Johns Square, London EC1.
His Royal Highness later received Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Tajikistan (Mr Robin Ord-Smith).
The Duke of York this evening attended a Dinner at the Residence of the Ambassador from the People’s Republic of China in London.

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, this afternoon presented Operational Service Medals to soldiers of The Royal Wessex Yeomanry who have recently returned from Operation Herrick.
The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Debra, this evening attended a Downton Abbey Dinner at Highclere Castle, Newbury, Berkshire.
Kensington Palace
The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Missing People, this evening was present at a Carol Service in St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, and afterwards attended a Reception in the Vicarage, 6 St Martins Place, London WC2.
