The Duke of York this morning visited For Entrepreneurs Only at the Enterprise Centre, University of Hull, Cottingham Road, Kingston upon Hull, and was received by Her Majesty’ s Lord-Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire (the Hon Mrs Susan Cunliffe-Lister).
His Royal Highness later visited JSR Genetics Limited, Southburn, near Driffield, East Yorkshire.
The Duke of York, Patron, this afternoon attended The Duke of York’s Community Initiative Awards at Bridlington Spa, South Marine Drive, Bridlington.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex were received this morning by The President of the Republic of South Africa at Tuynhuys, Cape Town.
His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, accompanied by Her Royal Highness, with The President of the Republic of South Africa, afterwards attended a Reception at Table Bay Hotel, Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town, for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The President’s Award for Youth Empowerment.
The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, this afternoon attended the Regional Director Africa Business Leaders Group Meeting at Grande Provence, Main Road, Franschhoek.
His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, and Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner for the World Fellowship at Grande Provence.

The Princess Royal this morning named the Natural Environment Research Council’s Royal Research Ship Discovery at the National Oceanography Centre, Waterfront Campus, European Way, Southampton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Butler Trust, this afternoon visited Her Majesty’s Prison Exeter, New North Road, Exeter, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Sir Eric Dancer).
The Princess Royal, Grand Patron, Railway Convalescent Homes, later opened the Waterside Apartments at Bridge House, 2 Church Street, Dawlish, Devon.
Her Royal Highness this evening attended the Tenth Anniversary Dinner at the Natinal Maritime Museum Cornwall, Discovery Quay, Falmouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Tunbridge Wells Mental Health Resource Limited, 2a Grosvenor Park, Tunbridge Wells, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent (the Viscount De L’Isle).
His Royal Highness afterwards opened Skinners’ Kent Academy, Blackhurst Lane, Tunbridge Wells.
The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon opened the renovated Ryder House at West Kent Young Men’s Christian Association, 1-23 Belgrave Road, Tunbridge Wells.
His Royal Highness later travelled along the Bluebell Railway from Sheffield Park Railway Station to East Grinstead Railway Station to mark the opening of the new extension and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex (Mr Peter Field).
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent this afternoon visited the BMW Mini Car Plant, Eastern Bypass Road, Cowley, Oxford, and was received by Mr John Harwood (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).
His Royal Highness later attended the Service of Celebration for the Life of William Morris, First Viscount Nuffield, at the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, High Street, Oxford.
