Mr Simon Manley was received in audience by The Queen today and kissed hands upon his appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.

Mrs Manley was also received by The Queen.

Air Chief Marshal Sir Andrew Pulford was received by Her Majesty upon his appointment as Chief of the Air Staff.

Squadron Leader Dale White was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Equerry in Waiting to The Duke of Edinburgh when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.

Mr Keith Rembridge was received by The Queen when Her Majesty decorated him with the Bar to the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver).

The Duke of York this morning held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace for the E20 group of entrepreneurs.

His Royal Highness, on behalf of The Queen, this evening presented the Chatham House Prize at the Award Ceremony in the Banqueting House, Whitehall, London SW1.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, and The Countess of Wessex this morning visited Bridge House School, Waterval Road, Franschhoek, South Africa.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, later visited the Regional Office of the Department of Correctional Services, Goodwood Correctional Centre, Peninsula Drive, Monte Vista, Cape Town.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Residence of the British High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa in Cape Town.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, this morning visited the Chrysalis Academy, Porter Estate, Tokai, Cape Town.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this evening departed Cape Town International Airport for the United Kingdom.
